Well several of you are wondering whats going on since I haven't updated my blog. The sad truth is there is nothing to update. I am going to the Gym every morning and evening and once on Sat (Sunday- off), and maintaining my 1200 calorie diet. At my last weigh in I lost one lb. I was frustrated, but was told I am building muscle at first so this is expected. I was told to just be patient and wait and see next months numbers. Well yesterday was my weigh in and measurements and I am sad to report that not only did I only lose 1 lb, but I gained in body fat %, and my measurements went up as well. It was all I could do to not cry right there in front of my trainer. I bought the whole "your building muscle" thing the first mth, but what now? Why am I not losing now? One lady thought it was because I was working out to much. You have go to me kidding me. There is no such thing as working out to much unless you are doing it 24/7 or something, but 3-4 hours a day is not to much. On the biggest loser they work out for hours. I am frustrated to no end. I didn't cry in the Gym, but lost it as soon as I hit my car. I had all my kids with me and they were all wondering why mom was crying. My trainer is way frustrated and has never seen this before. He has trained many many people and has never had this problem. So off to the doctor to get blood work and see if there might be some underlying issue to prevent me from losing the wt. I should know more next week, but until them I will contuine to work my butt of and see no results:(
I'm so sorry to hear that...I can't imagine how frustrated you are. Don't give up. Keep exercising an hour or two a day and continue to eat healthy. And I agree, that a doctor's appointment is also the right direction to go. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI bet you are frustrated. But hang in there! You are going in the right direction to keep you body in shape. You have to feel good about that at least. I hope you Dr's appt goes well. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteOh how frustrating. Just go with your gut feeling and don't get frustrated if you get no answers from the Dr. I just fought that battle. Listen to your body. Keep working it will pay off. Remeber "HE" never said it would be easy but it will be Worth it! I think this applies in all aspects of Life. You have many cheering you on. Keep us posted!
